NINETEEN
âSHIT WAS LACED WITH SPEED, DUDE.â
âI heard the molly was cut with oxy and heroin.â
âWe all took ecstasy but there was crack and acid in there. I was hallucinating.â
âIt was meth.â
Anyone you talked to who tweaked had a different combination of drugs they were positive it was laced with. Everyone was walking around saying nonsense. It was not like Moâs buddy from Wisconsin cut it himself. It was just bad drugs. Period. I donât even think a doctor could tell. Like, if you went to the hospital, the doctor could see you have a bunch of amphetamines or some other medical term in your blood. Not like the doctor could be like, âWell, son, you took a powder that was 20 percent molly, 40 percent crack, and 40 percent meth.â That would be like going in for alcohol poisoning and the doctor saying, âYup, she had five margaritas and seven Rumple Minze shots in a two-hour span.â I could be 1,000 percent wrong, but regardless, no one went to the hospital, so no one knew what those drugs were.
As it turned out, Moâs buddy got two different batches from two different guys up in Madison, Wisconsin. He and his friends took the first batch and the second was sold to Cam and Wolf. Thatâs why Mo and them werenât tweaking, but Acacia and ATO were.
After the dust of the weekend settled, ATO had our elections for who was going to be president and shit like that. We were supposed to have them months prior, but I think everyone honestly just forgot. I was voted to be the risk manager, ironically. Instantly I was going to say hell no, but after hearing the junior who previously held the role say it was something bullshit that looked nice on your résumé, I said I would do it. One of the reasons I also wanted to do it was because the risk manager got to have an annual meeting with the dean and go to monthly meetings with every fraternity. Sounded like a pain in the ass at first, but since I was dealing to a lot of the fraternities, it sounded like it would be beneficial for me to show my face to the dean and be in the know with issues around the school. I was always curious what was going on in other houses and with the Greek system anyway, so getting to talk to the dean and ask him face-to-face questions, to me, would be somewhat cool.
On Tuesday I finally talked with Bo and Cam about Eric. I told them the switch happened a couple weeks ago, even though it was coming up on four months, but neither of them really cared. Everything had stayed the same in those four months, or I guess those couple weeks in Camâs and Boâs eyes, so nothing for them to really worry about.
Cam was pushing for me to get harder drugs from Eric, especially because no one trusted Mo anymore, so everyone had to look elsewhere.
